Are you honest with your friends? Or do you merely tell them
what you know they want to hear?
It can be so awkward to tell the truth with those we rub
shoulders with on a daily basis. It’s hard to say something that you know
someone is not going to like hearing.
But if that person is someone we say we love – who deserves
our honesty more?
A true friend is someone who says the hard thing – does the hard thing – and loves the hard way in gentleness, respect, and authenticity.
